About Lauren's Learning
At Lauren's Learning, we understand that every child's journey with special educational needs is unique. Our mission is to provide warm, individualised support that helps children navigate their learning during the school day with confidence and joy.
By creating sessions tailored specifically to individual requirements, we ensure a calm and supportive experience where progress is measurable and every small achievement is celebrated.
A Flexible Approach
Every learner is unique, and I believe education should reflect that. Sessions can be adapted using practical activities, sensory resources, games, visual supports, movement breaks, and hands-on learning to keep children engaged and motivated.
My aim is to create a positive learning experience where children feel safe to ask questions, celebrate success, and develop confidence both academically and personally.

A bit about me
Hello, I’m Lauren. I’ve spent years working closely with children who have a variety of additional needs. I’ve seen how much it helps when a child has the right person by their side in a space that feels safe. My goal is simply to help your child find their own way to shine.
I have a degree in children, schools and families and extensive experience working with children with special educational needs, including pre - formal learners. I have my own daughter with SEN needs who attends a mainstream school, so i understand the limits on what SEN support schools can provide!
I started Lauren’s Learning to give families a more personal kind of help. I wanted to build a service where we embrace how your child naturally thinks and learns. It is about more than just lessons; it is about creating a gentle, regular routine where they feel completely comfortable.
Qualifications and experiences
I have extensive experience supporting children and young people with a wide range of additional needs across both school and individual settings. My background includes working with pupils with autism, ADHD, speech, language and communication needs, learning disabilities, social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH), and children with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
I have experience delivering personalised learning using approaches such as Precision Teaching, phonics, and differentiated teaching strategies across English, maths and other curriculum areas. I understand the importance of adapting learning to suit each child’s individual needs, learning style and interests.
I am committed to continually developing my knowledge through professional training and keeping up to date with best practice in SEND education. My focus is on providing high-quality, engaging and child-centred support that helps every learner build confidence, make progress and enjoy learning.
